This collection of stories and articles is my professional portfolio as I aspire to be a published travel writer. My writing focuses on the experiences of travel, interspersed with subjects that naturally interweave with being abroad, such as culture, food, nature, peoples and their worldviews, and the thrill of the unexpected.
Capac Ñan is the name the Incas gave the famous Inca Trail, and this roadway still connects landscapes from Colombia down to Chile and Argentina. Just as the actual Capac Ñan is more than the hike that leads to Machu Picchu, Peru is even more than its famous tourist sites. Although my writing is not confined to only Peru, the majority of my articles are based in that country. With that in mind, this website hopes to entertain and connect you with culture, travel options, and adventure ideas. It is broken up into these sections:
